You could have an Emily Cordelia, Dominique Jennie, Jennie Annabelle, Annastasia Emily, David Joel, Dominic Jordan, Sebastian David or David Sebastian or any combination of unique and simplistic names you like.

I was in the same situation with my second baby. I wanted something unique yet simple and not to off the wall. I have come up with names I love.
If She was He his name was to be CHASE- meaning HUNTER. A strong yet simple and different name.
Her name (middle) is going to be LIANA (lee-on-a). I am not fond of Leanna but Liana is not heard of yet really stuck with me. It is also unique yet simple and different. Everyone that has heard her full name love it. My son's name is AARON- meaning MOUNTAIN, STRENGTH.
Hope this helps some. Good Luck. Names are as special as each child so make sure you love it.
My Husband and I are also trying to start a family. We have also talk about baby for a while. I also like unique names where as he prefers more common names. My name is Keisha (no offense to anyone but I am white) I love my name, it is a great conversation starter everywhere. My family has a few unique names such as Marcus, Tessa, Kaleah Amanda ( I love her name). But the name my husband and I have decided on if we have a girl we will name her - Ruby Marie. We are not sure what we are going to name the baby if we have a boy. I like the names Blake, Blaze( he hates this one) I wasn't sure at first but I seen a couple one day and their little boy's name was Blaze, and I guess I thought about it so much it grow on me. Dylan, Damon, Dalton. I not sure about boys. Hope this helped.
well for a boy i guess the name yanal(which means aperson who gets what he wants) is a good name, jade is good too.
for ababy girl, i am fond of the name Lynne and logeen( which means silver). Emma is nice .

You could try some ethnic names for boys or girls that fit your family backgrounds....for instance, if the two of you are primarily English, look up some Celtic names (Welsh, Irish, or Scottish) and choose the name by both the sound and the meaning.
Oddly enough, two of our children have names that have the same meaning, but in different languages.
Baby names are hard to chose it is best to find out the sign you child will be born under and pick a name that that has the same traits as the sign. with our first child my bf and i didn't agree on a name until we saw our sons face. and we are still in disagreement with what our daughters name will be and she is due next month and remember if you can agree on a first names a child can always be called by there middle name.
but there is a book by Suzanne Smither called "Baby Names: an astrological guide" it has lots of simple unique name with there meaning and origin next to the names a lot of them i had honestly never herd of but they are all wonderful names

I don't think you should worry about naming a baby right now-your not even pregnant. My husband and I went through a million names before we actually had our children-and ended up choosing different names than we first agreed on. I think you should take naming a child very seriously. My daughter is in kindergarten and has two Jacobs and three Christophers in her class. They go by Jacob T., Jacob G., Christopher R., you get it. Unique names are perfect because your child will not likely have to be known by their last initial. I knew someone who's husband's name was Geoff and her name was Anna. They wanted a unique name for their daughter and ended up combining their names and naming her Gianna. I think that is adorable, plus now that Gianna is a little older, she realizes that she has mommy and daddy's name. Maybe you should think about something like that.
I always like the name Ilia or ilia for a girl but had a son how 24 for a boys name no idea.
