names repeat throughout history. and typically the names your parents liked were from a generation or two past that their grandparents thought were old fashioned. the names we think are old fashioned and out of style our children will probably like. i read this somewhere and it is supposed to be true. based on what i've seen in life i'd say it pretty much is. if you like to read, read some older books or go through some genealogy archives online. you will find names there that no one has ever heard of. and if someone on here has heard of it, then it probably isn't that unique. i heard the name nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards) at church recently and thought it was really unique. so i started to tell my sister and before i could even say the name she knew what i was talking about. she is a flight attendant and said it was actually really popular right now. so there you go.
